Frequently Asked Questions
If I click “Sponsor” for a child’s wish list, do I need to provide the entire wish list?
Yes! When you add a child to your basket and check-out, that is a commitment to provide the entire wish list. If you are not able to purchase an entire wish list, we welcome a monetary donation to contribute toward the cost of the gifts on the list. You can donate by clicking HERE and including “Holidays for the Home” in the comment section.
What if I cannot sponsor an entire wish list?
If you are not able to purchase an entire wish list, we welcome a monetary donation to contribute toward the cost of gifts and other holiday needs (like decorations for a child’s room, holiday activities, and more). You can donate by clicking HERE and including “Holidays for the Home” in the comment section.
What if an item isn’t showing up on the amazon wish list?
Sometimes an item will disappear from an amazon wish list if a seller is no longer available. Email us and we can share the hard copy of their list, so that you can find the item elsewhere.
If I have an item on the child's wish list that is gently used, can I donate that?
Why can't I wrap the gifts before I drop them off?
I don't want to do the shopping, can I just make a cash donation towards a wish list?
Absolutely! Donations made towards Holidays for the Home allow us to purchase children’s gifts that are not sponsored and extras that enhance the holiday experience. You can make a general donation by clicking HERE and including “Holidays for the Home” in the comment section.
Can I get a tax receipt for my donations?
Yes, please fill out our in-kind donation form HERE and we will send you a formal thank you letter that will also serve as a tax receipt.
